WINGS OF WISE SCHOLARSHIP

The Wings of Wise Scholarship was created in honor of Carrillo Elementary’s founding principal, Fred Wise. Each year, a one-time $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior who previously attended Carrillo Elementary.

This program reflects our commitment to nurturing curious, confident, and lifelong learners. It is a meaningful way to celebrate the continued growth and accomplishments of our former students.

2026 Recipient Kylie Turner

We are proud to announce this year’s recipient, Kylie Turner. After a thoughtful review of anonymous essay submissions, Kylie was selected by our committee. She was presented with a scholarship check and a small gift from the PTO. Congratulations to Kylie on this well-deserved honor.
